Founder, co-owner and principal broker of Beck Realty Group.  Joe is a 40+ year veteran of Louisville real estate.  He managed the brokerage operations of a major builder/Realtor for 17 years with full charge of land acquisition and all sales and leasing of that company’s custom homes and East End commercial properties.  He hired, trained and supervised dozens of agents.

He founded Beck Realty Group in 1996. Since then he has developed over 800 acres of residential subdivisions in Metro Louisville and has provided consulting and marketing services to a large number of investor partners and homeowner clients.

With a new partner, Susan Stomberger, he has expanded Beck Realty Group’s capacity to use state of the art marketing tools for our clients and to serve as the best available resource for investors, builders and developers.

I have known and worked with Joe Beck since 1975.  He has represented me, my family and my company as broker, consultant and manager.  Through him we have conducted intensive searches for Weco Investments branch sites, office space, investment and recreational land and my personal residence.  We have purchased hundreds of acres which Joe found for us and helped manage.  We brought our present home in Anchorage through Joe, as did most of my family and all of the top executives of my former company.

He has advised us and represented us in negotiating leases of our corporate offices and the Louisville and Evansville branches of Cummins Cumberland.  He sold the industrial property we vacated in relocating the Evansville branch and helped to deal with a number of environmental issues that arose in connection with the sale.

He purchased a horse training facility from us, borrowing several hundred thousand dollars of purchase money from us, successfully rebuilt it into a fully occupied, profitable operation and sold it to a third party.  After we bought it back and operated it for several years, he resold it for us in a very difficult market.

We continue to use Joe as our broker and consultant for all of our real estate activity.  We have found him to be knowledgeable, hardworking, and quite effective.  I can recommend him with enthusiasm to anyone who needs the assistance of an experienced real estate professional.

I have purchased three farms totaling approximately 1435 acres from Joe Beck in the ten years that I have known him.  The value of these transactions was slightly less than $3,000,000.00.  I found Joe to be very knowledgeable regarding these properties and not only presented them well but provided valuable information regarding possible uses of the property.  This involved detailed research on his part from cattle alternatives to development plans.

I still own two of the parcels.  The third was sold at a profit and is now a part of the Lake Forest Subdivision.
